AGI Information Page - Durapol LR-A

Solder Pallet Composite.
DURAPOL LR-A Electrostatic Dissipative

Durapol LR-A was developed to meet the ever-increasing requirements of the PCB industry. Durapol LR-A was designed as a low cost electrostatic dissipative solder pallet alternative material to more expensive metal or epoxy composites without sacrificing technical characteristics in the solder pallet application.

Durapol LR-A is an electrostatic dissipative proprietary polyester glass mat, which stays flat at high temperatures during the assembly process. The static control feature of Durapol LR-A allows for the draining of electrostatic discharge during processing.

Durapol LR-A is a high strength, high temperature composite material specifically designed with a technically advanced proprietary polyester resin to withstand the harsh environment of the wave solder process. Subjected to high heat, Durapol LR-A will maintain dimensional stability, flatness and will not warp.

Durapol LR-A has superior machinability to alternative metal and epoxy resin materials. This allows for easier fabrication of the solder pallet to exact specifications with tight tolerances.
